Whether you’re a long-time collector or just a fan of the gaming, there is a community out there for you. The Resurrection Gaming Company starts and ends with the fans, and the team selects projects that provide value to the gaming community, while generating sustainable returns to ensure the game will continue for new generations of fans in the future.
Process
We are committed to a fan-first approach with a design philosophy that centers around thematic gameplay and storytelling. We also enable the continued enjoyment of popular collectible games or game mechanics that have gone out of print. This approach is built on pillars of playability and collectability.

Playability
When designing new games, our philosophy is to focus on the stories and characters that fans adore most, enabling a retelling and expansion of the lore connected with the source material. Most new games are licensed IP with existing fan bases. We always make sure there are fun, novel mechanics that could only exist in that world.
For restoring out of print games, gameplay will typically be based on the same mechanics of the original game. This will include a review of all previously released game-pieces, boards, cards, rules and functions in preparation for the first series release. We also do our best to enable backwards compatibility – meaning that collectors will be able to use original game pieces that have been in circulation with a new harmonized rulebook and new series.
Expansion series are planned to introduce new characters, new gaming concepts and expand the storytelling within the canon. We believe that the fans have grown to love and respect the hard work of everyone involved in the development of these stories. Those entrusted to contribute to that story must be good stewards of the dedication fans provide.
Collectability
For card games: a new rarity matrix and new booster pack formats for selling each future series will be created to maximize the value of collecting the cards.
For board games: limited edition versions of the game and expansions are produced to enable collectors to maximize the value of their investment.
For some projects, Resurrection Games also participates directly in the secondary market by establishing a sanctioned digital channel for reselling of individual cards, sealed boosters, cases, decks, and collectibles related to the game. We also provide an authentication service to ensure both seller and buyer satisfaction through a dedicated online portal.

Projects
Our process enables a wide fan base to continue to play within the original ecosystem while expanding and creating sustainable gameplay that can continue to grow as new content is developed.
With the development of new content, the potential for new expansions beyond the game that was originally released are key criteria when selecting a project to work on.
Each project comes with inherent risks and uncertainties, which could have a material adverse effect on the success of the business, future financial condition, results of operations and cash flows. These include strategic, operational, global economic, financial, governmental, regulatory and legal risks related to our business. For these reasons we only take on projects where after assessing the market and legal background we feel there is an opportunity to create value for fans and sustain gameplay for future generations.
